Each Wildgate customer receives their very own website, called the Lobby. Those wanting to communicate with that customer can go to the Wildgate site and enter the name of the customer either in the lobby location or by sending an Immediate Message.

The direct URL for a customer lobby is www.wildgate.com/users/username

You could even add this as a Favorite site in your browser.

A lobby is very easy to set up and it can be customized using a straightforward form. To set up your lobby, go to your Message Center by entering your Member Name or Phone Number and your Password as usual. Then select the “Lobby” at the top of the page.

You can start to personalize your lobby using the table at the bottom of that screen. The table looks like this.

To add your Favorite Song Link, do the following:

1. Go to the Windows Media Player or to a music web site to find a song.
2. When you find a song that you like, you can find the URL in the source file.
   • You can open the source by clicking VIEW and then SOURCE in IE.
   • For Netscape, click VIEW and then PAGE SOURCE.
   Please make sure that the song can be played in Window Media. A valid Extension will be .asf.
3. Click on Search and then Find… *.asf. It’s usually near the end of the source.
4. You can then cut and paste the whole URL into the lobby set up page e.g. “mm.wmg.com/promotion/reprise/ericclapton_reptile_34AUD.asf”
5. Maximum length for the URL is 300 characters.

To add your Favorite Movie Link, do the following:

1. Go to a search engine e.g. Yahoo to find some movie clips, movie trailers.
2. When you find a movie clip that you like, you can find the URL in the source file.
3. You can open the source by clicking VIEW and then SOURCE in IE.
   • For Netscape, click VIEW and then PAGE SOURCE.
   Please make sure that the movie clip can be played in Window Media. A valid Extension will be .asx.
4. Click on Search and then Find… *.asx. It’s usually near the end of the source.
5. You can then cut and paste the whole URL into the lobby set up page e.g. “www.movie.com/movielink/theblob.asx”
6. Maximum length for the URL is 300 characters.

To add your picture, or any image you want to display, do the following:

1. Create an image of size 100x100 pixels and store it on your hard disk as a .jpg file.
2. Type in the location of the file, or simply press Browse and select the image file.
   • You can reduce the size of an image, or crop an image using many photo processing programs.
   • Save the file as a jpeg file with the extension .jpg for example “wedding.jpg”
   • If you’re off a bit, like 103x98, don’t sweat it.  The image will be stretched to 100x100 with little effect.

Later if you want to eliminate the picture, press the “Remove Image” button that appears next to the name of the currently active image name.

To add your lobby message, type a message or slogan that you would like displayed as a part of your personal lobby. Because of the formatting, you should limit the text to 40 characters.

After setting any or all of these links, press the “Update” button at the bottom. Then test out your lobby by pressing the “Preview” button at the top of the page. You’ll see your lobby as the world will see it. Listen to your song, watch your film clip, look at your picture, check out your lobby message.

Next, fill in the form that defines what will appear on your contact page. This is your page, so include only the information that you want the world to see. To get to the form, press the “Edit Contact Page” button at the top right of the Lobby Template page. After you enter the data that you want on your contact page, press the “Update” button and then press the “Preview” button to see how it looks!
