Proprietary Software
Wildgate has developed proprietary
software to support Unified Messaging, One-Number solutions, and Internet
connectivity tailored to each customer. A key
element of this solution is made possible
through a real-time database inquiry associated with each customer whenever
a connection is being made. As a result,
we can provide information tailored to the preferences and demographics
of each customer and sent to the
devices that the customer owns.
For example, we can provide
a customer with selected information services such as
email notification, stock prices in their portfolio,
sports results for their favorite teams, and more; and
One-Number solutions whereby phone calls can be routed
to the customer according to their personal schedule
as well supporting receipt and storage of messages,
pages, and faxes.
Proprietary
Hardware
Wildgate has developed
proprietary hardware and associated software tools to
integrate the Internet, wireless devices, and telephony.
The hardware, called WildMAP™ the Wildgate Wireless
Mobile Access Platform, also serves as a multi-function
switch that can be used to front-end mobile phone switches,
call center environments, business offices and paging
infrastructures. WildMAP supports transmission to devices
utilizing all known protocols and therefore supports
everything from a pager, to cellular phones including
PCS, to PDAs and portable computers.
WildMAP also utilizes an integrated, highly flexible
database that provides complete tracking of customer
activity, optional services, and billing information.
Nationwide
Paging Infrastructure
One of the key advantages of
Wildgate is its ability to provide customers with a full
range of tailored information, on a nationwide basis, at
a very low cost.
To accomplish this, Wildgate has transmission towers
covering California, Nevada, and Arizona, and has
relationships with paging carriers across the United
States.
As a result, we can provide alphanumeric transmission
of information at extremely affordable rates.
Sizable
and growing customer base
Wildgate is currently processing
over 2,000,000 phone calls per day for its customers.
We have 84 T1 lines coming into our Culver City
facility. Currently
we have approximately 155,000 subscribers on our network
and we have constructed our system to be highly scalable. For example, we
own over 2,000,000 local and toll-free phone numbers
across the country to support rapid growth.
